Close-to-Home Opportunities

Adorn your Thanksgiving table with Autumn colorsWe are in the lull of autumn.  After all the beautiful leaves have fallen yet before the fun and chaos of the holidays. Back-to-school has faded into day-to-day.  Hope for more Indian summer days dwindles.  Nature’s vibrancy is slowing down, preparing for winter, drawing inward.  Storing up.  Without too much distraction, it’s the perfect time for us to take stock of some close-to-home priorities too.  In this issue, I invite you to think about your bowels.  Okay, that sounds funny, but I am quite serious!  I want you to draw inward and reflect specifically on your bowel movements.  Are they healthy?  Are you sure?  A truly close-to-home topic that is seldom discussed but critically important to our long-term wellness, especially for avoiding chronic disease.

We are going to have an awesome time with a big crowd at the Diabetes Be Gone! online seminar next week.  Whether you wrestle now with diabetes or just want to make sure you don’t have to in the future, this course will bust many common myths and empower you to manage your own wellness.  If you haven’t registered yet, please do so right away.  We shut the doors on the live class registration this Saturday (11/15) at 6pm ET.

If you are in metrowest Boston, my last 2014 walking nutrition tour of Whole Foods Market in Framingham will be on Tuesday, December 9th at 7pm.  These fill up very quickly, so be sure you register soon.

Eat on purpose.  Live on purpose.  Choose to Be well!
